We are looking for an experience worker for a fixed-term position until 31.12.2026. Welcome to Diakonissalaitos's Toivon talo and Hirundo! As an experience worker, you will work in the services for immigrants at Toivon talo. Your task focuses on the outreach and mobile work of Hirundo Mobiili, where undocumented and other vulnerable migrants are met where they move and stay. Your work is mainly aimed at undocumented women from outside the EU, with whom you build confidential client relationships, offer psychosocial support, advice and service guidance, and help them find the social, health and legal services they need. The work is mainly mobile outreach work across Helsinki. The work includes meeting clients in their own operating environments, walking alongside them and providing low-threshold support. If necessary, you will also participate in the daily activities of Toivon talo and other common tasks of the team. We expect from you: - experience in outreach work, day center or immigrant work or other similar client work - ability to work with Arabic-speaking clients in Arabic - basic knowledge of the Finnish language - willingness to work in a multicultural environment - good interaction and cooperation skills A driver's license and extensive language skills are considered an advantage due to the mobile nature of the task and diverse client encounters. Work community and culture: Toivon talo is located in Herttoniemi, Helsinki on Sahaajankatu. Ten employees work in two teams at the day center.
