Good food makes a good everyday life, come as a cook to Kanervakoti! We are looking for a warm-hearted and careful cook for a permanent employment contract in the kitchen of Yrjö and Hanna Hoiva's Kanervakoti. The versatile task includes both food preparation and heating as well as baking. A person with education in the restaurant industry or as a baker-confectioner who enjoys varied tasks is well-suited for the position. Our Kanervakoti is located in a pleasant place in Westend, Espoo and is a home for 60 elderly residents who need round-the-clock care. As a cook, you will become an important part of our residents' everyday life: you ensure that every day smells of good food and oven-fresh treats. Your work includes heating food, preparing tasty side dishes and baking for the needs of the care home. In addition, taking care of the cleanliness and order of the kitchen is part of the job description. We hope for the ability to work independently, a brisk attitude and good work planning skills as well as, of course, a smile and a genuine customer service attitude. Good interaction and service skills are important in the task, as you will work in cooperation with residents, relatives and the staff of the whole house. The work is morning shift work on weekdays, so you can enjoy a regular and predictable work rhythm. Salary is determined according to the Collective Agreement of the Private Social Services Sector (table salary G20 €2,449.58/month - €2,649.79/month).
