We are seeking a STORE MANAGER for Ilves-kauppa Do you want to combine retail expertise, the world of sports, and commercial development? We are looking for a store manager for Ilves-kauppa to take overall responsibility for two stores (ice hockey and football) as well as the online store. Ilves-kauppa employs 3–4 permanent employees as well as gig and event workers. Your role combines store management, building the fan product range, procurement, supporting sports activities, and developing sales and customer experience. The employment is permanent and full-time. Key contents of the position Retail – stores, online store, and customer experience - daily management of stores and the online store - developing customer experience in-store, online, and at match events - ensuring sales, especially on game days and during seasons Purchasing and assortment - planning and developing the product range (fan products, game uniforms, clothing) - purchasing, supplier cooperation, and ensuring delivery reliability - inventory management and anticipating seasons Team clothing and jerseys - coordinating team clothing together with equipment managers and support staff - managing game-worn jerseys and organizing their sale Management and operational daily work - acting as the team leader (permanent staff, shift managers, gig and event workers) - shift planning - organizing and developing daily practical operations Commercial development - increasing sales and planning campaigns - cooperation with marketing (launches, campaigns, developing match-day sales) - cooperation with the reseller network What do we expect from you? We do not require you to master everything from the start, but your success will be supported if you have: - experience in retail, store operations, or e-commerce - understanding of purchasing, assortment building, and inventory management - experience in supervisory work or a strong desire to develop as a leader - interest in sports (ice hockey and/or football) - good organizational and interaction skills, as well as a proactive and responsible work ethic Working hours are variable; game days, events, and seasons involve evening and weekend work, so we value flexibility and readiness to work when the store is open and games are ongoing. Fluent Finnish language skills are essential; English skills are an advantage.
