Accountant

HUS Financial Services is responsible for the HUS Group's ledger, accounting tasks, and payment traffic. Our unit has approximately 120 employees and our office is located in Kalasatama, Helsinki. We are seeking an ACCOUNTANT for HUS Financial Services for a permanent position. You will be part of the accounting and payment traffic team, which is responsible for the HUS Group's general ledger, payment traffic, financial statements, VAT reporting, and other reporting. Additionally, the team prepares the HUS Group's financial statements. The team currently consists of 8 accounting and payment traffic professionals. We provide services to our internal customers, the various units of the HUS Group. As an accountant, you will participate in the HUS Group's accounting and the preparation of financial statements together with the rest of the team. Your duties include, among other things, accruals, journal entries, reconciliations, verifying the correctness of entries, and balance sheet specifications. We offer a versatile and interesting role where you can delve into the accounting of wellbeing services counties at Finland's largest university hospital. Our work community has a good culture of cooperation. We expect enthusiasm, proactivity, as well as appropriate secondary vocational education and relevant experience. You also communicate excellently in Finnish. Knowledge of the Oracle Fusion system and experience using Microsoft Excel are considered an advantage. The position requires independence, a sense of responsibility, and good interaction and teamwork skills. Flexibility in working is provided by flexible working hours and a hybrid work model. The position-specific salary is €3,210.30/month plus possible experience and other additions. We hope you can start work on September 1, 2026, or by agreement.
