This vacancy is for individuals who have at least six (6) months of experience in online grocery picking over the last 3 years. We will not invite applicants who do not have sufficient retail experience through this opening. The job of an online grocery picker is varied, fast-paced and requires accuracy. Orders are picked and packed efficiently, often several per day. The role demands precision, a proactive attitude and the ability to juggle many tasks at once. Products must be fresh, within best-by dates, and match customer requests. The job is physically demanding due to lifting and moving heavy items. At the end of the day, the step count often exceeds 20,000 steps, so good overall fitness is required. Work is done with a lively pace but with a friendly spirit. Customer service is a crucial part of the role, as typically picking takes place while the store is open, and the customer is assisted during the picking process. Days are spent working with a great picking team and with customers. Work is arranged flexibly from Monday to Saturday, and especially the eve of holidays is the busiest time. We expect willingness to work also on holiday eves. Shifts start at 6:00 am and can be booked via the Joblink app. Most shifts are booked on short notice for the same week, though sometimes you may know your shifts weeks in advance. Casual work often follows our customers’ seasonal peaks; during busy times there are many shifts, and in quieter seasons there are fewer. You will receive training before your first shifts, so you do not need to worry about lacking necessary skills. If you enjoy variety and can take on multiple work sites, this role is suitable. Good social skills and enthusiasm for meeting new people are valued. You need fluent Finnish, and you must be at least 18 years old.
