Job Description
Are you one of our new instructors or do you know a suitable person? We are looking for responsible and active instructors with experience in guiding children and youth. You are positive, able to manage both the group and practical matters, and most importantly: children enjoy your guidance and feel safe. For the period 2026-2027, we are seeking new instructors for the Myyrmäki area. What does a club instructor do? A gym instructor, or Gymi teacher, conducts club lessons according to Gymin's teaching and lesson plans. You will have access to a comprehensive digital manual and video materials, which will be used for training during the club year. Additionally, we will organize a few short remote training sessions throughout the year. This is also an opportunity to develop your skills in children's physical activity! We expect from you: * at least 18 years of age * ability to work independently * experience in guiding children’s groups * positive and firm group management skills We consider the following as advantages: * experience in parkour, gymnastics, or circus * first aid skills The club instructor position is temporary and part-time. The salary is in accordance with the youth instructor salary level. Salary depends on skills and experience. We also pay possible travel allowances from Tikkurila city center to schools. The instructor work begins when schools start in autumn 2026 and ends in May 2027. Gymi clubs are held as part of the City of Vantaa’s Hobbying Finland model club activities. Clubs are held on weekday afternoons. The clubs end no later than 5 PM. The Gymi instructor will have a maximum of 6-8 teaching hours per week.
