You will play a key role in ensuring that strategic priorities are translated into a structured, well-governed, and executable portfolio of initiatives. In addition, you will establish and continuously develop portfolio management as an integral part of the operating model, enabling transparency of value, risks, and delivery performance across the organization. As Head of PMO & Portfolio Development, you will: Lead and continuously develop Finnair’s PMO and project management capability, including methodologies, governance, tooling, and reporting. Provide leadership with a transparent, fact-based view of the portfolio, including value, risks, dependencies, and performance. Collaborate closely with Business, Strategy and Digital teams to align portfolio, development, delivery and ways of working. What are we looking for? 10+ years of experience in project, program, and portfolio management. Proven track record of leading PMO functions and building or significantly improving portfolio management maturity. Strong leadership and change management capabilities. Experience leading complex digital transformation or technology-enabled change initiatives. Strong business and financial acumen, business case development, and benefits tracking and analytics. Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills. Collaborative and strong at building trust across business and digital teams. Ability to operate effectively in complex, matrixed environments. Calm, decisive, and resilient under pressure. Familiarity with portfolio and PPM tools. Hands-on experience with agile, waterfall, and hybrid delivery models at scale. Continuous learner with a passion for improving ways of working. Why Join Finnair?
