We are building an even better maintenance team for the future and are looking for an HVAC Supervisor for permanent employment in Kaarea’s property services plumbing team in the Turku area. In this role, you will lead varied HVAC operations as part of a skilled work community. Kaarea’s property services are broadly responsible for the maintenance and repair of public buildings and for the functioning and development of HVAC systems. You will assist the cost-centre manager. Your work combines staff leadership, customer cooperation, project management, procurement and practical problem-solving. The work is mobile and includes regular visits to customer sites. You will naturally work with installers, clients, service providers, contractors and building users. You take initiative and ensure that information reaches the right people at the right time. What does the work include? - Leading the plumbing team’s daily operations and developing them together with the cost-centre manager - Maintaining and developing on-call operations and supervising the work - Planning, resourcing and supervising installers’ work - Managing project schedules, quality and costs - Coordinating material procurement and worksites - Maintaining customer relationships and cooperating with clients, contractors and other stakeholders - Ensuring occupational safety and monitoring the quality of work - Participating in tender calculations, project planning and the development of working practices What do we expect from you? - Suitable education in the HVAC field, for example an HVAC engineering degree or plumbing technician qualification - Several years of experience in supervisory duties - Strong and varied experience in pipe installation, repair work, technical fault-finding and problem-solving - Understanding of both old and new HVAC systems - Ability to guide and organise work and manage several concurrent areas of responsibility - Excellent interaction, customer service and cooperation skills - Good IT skills and ability to learn new systems - A proactive, responsible and solution-oriented approach to work - A category B driving licence - A valid occupational safety card We consider the following an advantage: - Experience working in public properties or other demanding operating environments - Relevant professional qualifications, such as KVV or KKL supervisor competence - Refrigerant qualification (E3, E3 A) or knowledge of refrigeration equipment installation and maintenance - Experience participating in or leading on-call operations - Willingness to share your expertise and help support and guide the development of future professionals What do we offer you? - Permanent employment in a stable and responsible organisation - The opportunity to lead and develop HVAC operations as part of a growing property services organisation - Varied and meaningful worksites - Quality work tools and the support of a skilled organisation - The opportunity to develop your skills and participate in developing operations - Competitive annual leave benefits - Pay according to the YTES TEC pay group, with possible experience supplements - A sports and recreation benefit, as well as various tokens of appreciation and rewards in everyday work - A work community that values professional competence, safety, cooperation and a positive atmosphere Interested?   • Category B driving licence
  • Valid occupational safety card
