Combat Management System Integrator

We are now looking for a Combat Management System Integrator to join Saab’s growing Naval Combat Systems unit. At Saab, you can develop solutions that keep people and societies safe. In this role, you will take part in implementing Saab’s 9LV combat management system in Rauma during 2026–2029 as part of the Squadron 2020 project. As a Combat Management System Integrator, you will ensure that the Saab 9LV combat management system (CMS) works as a unified whole with other combat-system (CS) subsystems, such as sensors, radars, sonars and weapon systems. Together with Saab’s team, you will ensure that the Saab 9LV CMS is ready for testing on ships. You will also carry out troubleshooting and investigations as needed, as well as integration, performance and acceptance testing. You will also deploy new software versions. You will work closely with Saab’s testing, software development and customer organisations, as well as other system suppliers. You will not be alone in this role: other CMS integrators in Finland and Sweden will provide peer support. Familiarisation with the role will take place in Tampere and Turku during 2026. During this period, your main workplace will be Tampere, where we hope you can work about half of the working week. Work trips to Turku are estimated to take place every two or three weeks. During the commissioning phase, your main workplace will be Rauma, where you will use the skills you have learned together with Saab’s commissioning team.
