Security Guard

We are hiring security guards for permanent, part-time positions at a data center located in Hamina and at the data center’s construction site. This international site offers an interesting environment in which to learn and experience new tasks. You play a key role in meeting our client with professionalism and a good service attitude. Customer service, a positive attitude and commitment to the work are central to succeeding in the role. You will work as part of a large team whose shared goal is to protect the client’s personnel and property. Your duties include inspection rounds, opening doors, escorting people and other security guard tasks. We provide extensive training for the role, and after the training period delivered by our trainers, you will have the support of an immediate supervisor who is always on site. We are looking for friendly team players whose personal qualities are a good fit for our team. The work is shift-based and is generally carried out in 8- or 12-hour shifts. What we expect from you We value our employees’ customer-oriented and energetic attitude, as well as previous experience in customer service. Good interpersonal skills and perseverance are also essential in this role. You must be at least 18 years old and have a clean background. You must speak and write Finnish and English fluently and be able to work shifts, including night and weekend shifts. Considered an advantage - Other language skills - Previous work experience and training in the security sector, especially security screening - A valid security guard card; we can provide training if needed - Familiarity with Google Workspace, for example Gmail, Docs, Sheets and Meet Candidates selected for the role must pass an approved health examination, which also includes drug testing. The pay is at level III of the security services collective agreement.
