Substitute Teachers / Vamia - Vaasan kaupunki - Vaasa, Finland

We are seeking substitute teachers for Vamia's substitute teacher register for general subjects, dormitory, and integration education for the 2026-2027 school year. The areas include communication and interaction in native language, Finnish as a second language, Swedish, English, digital activity, art and creative expression, mathematics, physics and chemistry phenomena, societal participation, working life, entrepreneurship, health and well-being, and sustainable development. The duration varies from one day to several weeks, with needs throughout the year. Qualifications are based on the decree 986/98, but we also consider applicants without formal qualifications. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. We value flexibility, good interaction skills, sensitivity, adaptability, and teamwork with youth. We offer diverse tasks with young and adult students, providing valuable work experience and familiarity with Vamia's qualifications. Salary is based on OVTES section C, with hourly wages from €26.46 to €35.16 depending on education level.
