**Versatile assembly welding in a modern machine shop** Etelä-Hämeen Metalli Oy is a subcontracting machine shop based in Hämeenlinna that manufactures finished assemblies from laser-cut parts for the needs of Finnish industry. Our customers include companies in machine construction, the energy industry, and the defense industry. We are now looking for a **MIG/MAG Welder** to strengthen our production. We mainly produce small series, so the products to be welded change constantly. The work is not monotonous series welding; instead, you will get to manufacture various assemblies and see your own handiwork in the finished product. The materials to be welded are primarily structural steel (S355), but the work also involves welding stainless and acid-resistant steel as well as aluminum. Most assemblies weigh approximately 0.1–30 kg, so the work is performed ergonomically on a welding table. We utilize the precision of laser cutting in our production. The cuts often have ready-made fits and guides that facilitate assembly and reduce the need for separate jigs. The primary welding method is MIG/MAG, but depending on your interest and skills, you will have the opportunity to perform **TIG and laser welding** as well. What we expect from you: - Experience in MIG/MAG welding - Good ability to read drawings - A careful and proactive approach to work - A desire to produce high-quality work - Ability to work as part of a community - Fluent Finnish language skills Previous experience with TIG welding, stainless materials, or aluminum is considered an advantage, but the most important things for us are a good attitude and a desire to develop your own skills.
