About the role

A substitute registered nurse position is available in the Western Uusimaa wellbeing services county in Lohja. We are looking for an active, enthusiastic, and motivated registered nurse for a multidisciplinary team, with a solution-oriented approach and the ability to handle incomplete processes. In the Western Uusimaa wellbeing services county, outpatient mental health and substance abuse services are divided into first-line and reception service units. Youth reception services treat 13-17-year-olds with moderate symptoms. The service implements treatment packages based on the 'Therapies to the Frontline' (Terapiat etulinjaan) model, as well as other targeted treatment packages according to the client's individual needs, through either individual or group visits. Applications will be processed and candidates interviewed during the application period. Workplace name and address: Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, Reception Services, Kauppakatu 5, 08100 Lohja Working hours: 37 h 45 min / week. The position is fixed-term from 24.8. to 30.6.2027. Eligibility requirement: Licensed registered nurse. We require education as a licensed registered nurse and a valid medication administration permit (LOVe) or its completion within three months of the start of employment. Successful performance of the duties requires good interaction skills, the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, as well as the ability for independent decision-making and organizing one's own work. The position requires vaccination protection according to Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act and a tuberculosis screening according to Section 55 of the Communicable Diseases Act. We also check the criminal record extract for those working with minors. We value good cooperation and interaction skills, an active work approach, knowledge of the 'Therapies to the Frontline' operating model, training in cognitive short-term therapy, and readiness to use digital methods.
