Store Supervisor

We are looking for a checkout, customer service and cafe supervisor for a permanent employment contract in our new Kokkola department store. You will work in Biltema's Kokkola department store as a checkout, customer service and cafe supervisor and be responsible for the operation of the department store's checkouts and customer service point, checkout routines and the department store's cash traffic. In addition, you are responsible for the correct handling of complaints and returns and the orientation of new employees. Your duties in cafe operations include overall responsibility for the operation of Biltema Cafe, ensuring the smooth running of its daily operations and the orientation, training and ensuring the competence of the cafe staff. You are part of the department store's management team and are responsible in your turn for the operation of the entire department store, moving naturally also in the customer interface. We expect from you: - Commercial education and/or work experience from retail or grocery trade. - Good interpersonal skills as well as interest and/or expertise in supervisory duties. - Interest and expertise in responsibility tasks are considered an advantage. - Ability to take responsibility and work independently. - Positive can-do attitude and flexibility. - Readiness to work in all department store shifts, including morning, evening and weekend shifts. - In addition to Finnish, proficiency in English and Swedish is considered an advantage. Start according to agreement. Salary according to agreement, and the starting salary is at least €2,500/month. The final salary is determined based on your education and previous work experience and expertise. Evening and weekend bonuses according to the retail collective agreement are paid according to the hours worked. Are you excited?
