The duties of the Early Childhood Education Teacher include taking pedagogical responsibility for the planning, development, and evaluation of the children's group activities in accordance with the Lahti early childhood education plan. The job description of the Early Childhood Education Social Worker is based specifically on supporting the child's well-being, participation, and cooperation with families. The eligibility requirement is the qualification criteria defined in the Early Childhood Education Act. Experience in similar work is considered an advantage. The person selected for the position must present a criminal record extract in accordance with Act 504/2002 on the verification of the criminal background of persons working with children before accepting the position. The Communicable Diseases Act requires the verification of tuberculosis infection risk for those working with children under school age.
