Accountant

NextPharma is one of the leading contract manufacturers in the pharmaceutical, biotech and healthcare industries in Europe, with about 2,300 people in Germany, France, England, Norway and Finland. We are looking for an experienced accountant to strengthen the finance team of the ophthalmic plant in Tampere (NextPharma Oy, 3 people). In the position, you will be involved in responding to key accounting processes, financial statements and group reporting. This is a staff position and the working time is flexible 37.5h/week. Salary is determined by the Chemical Industry staff agreement as well as experience and skills (TVL 6–7). Personnel benefits include leisure insurance, lunch and wellbeing benefits. Responsibilities: Prepare monthly and financial statements, accounting entries and reconciliations; Handle VAT and other official notifications; Support group reporting and handle internal group reconciliations; Monitor sales ledger, allocate payments and participate in customer account clarifications; Report project costs and monitor project invoicing; Develop financial management processes together with the team. Requirements: Suitable commercial education (e.g. Bachelor of Business Administration or Economist); At least five (5) years of experience in accounting and financial statements; Good knowledge of Finnish accounting legislation and experience in financial management processes; IFRS experience; Experience with SAP and Basware systems and strong Excel skills; Independent, careful and development-oriented way of working; Fluent Finnish and English language skills. Experience working in an international group environment is an advantage. Employment is initially a fixed-term contract for about 1.5 – 2 years. Application deadline 20.08.2026.
