Practical Nurse

Uranuskoti is seeking a skilled practical nurse for a permanent position. Uranuskoti provides 24-hour residential services for 31 residents in Riihimäki. In the work unit, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of a team coordinator, a registered nurse, practical nurses, and care assistants. The work is in three-shift rotation. Eligibility requirement is a vocational qualification in social and health care, or another equivalent degree. We use the Lifecare patient information system. Participation in medication administration requires a valid LOVe permit, which you can update/complete with us at the start of employment if necessary. In addition to the position-specific salary, we pay an experience-based supplement ranging from 3% to 8%. The accumulation of vacation days is also determined by length of service. Those working with the elderly must present a criminal record extract as referred to in Section 6.4 of the Criminal Records Act, in accordance with Section 28.1 of the Act on the Supervision of Social and Health Care (741/2023). Salary and other terms of employment are determined according to the SOTE agreement. The probationary period is six months. Immediate patient and customer work requires vaccination protection as required by Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act and a tuberculosis clearance of the respiratory system according to Section 55.
