Founded in 2011, AlphaSense is headquartered in New York City with more than 2,000 employees across the globe and offices in the U.S., U.K., Finland, India, Singapore, Canada, and Ireland. About the Team: AlphaSense’s Product team stands at the forefront of innovation, developing AI-powered solutions that enable professionals to make smarter, faster, and more informed decisions. Our team, a diverse and global collective of operators, craftspeople, innovators, and visionaries, shares a passion for solving complex problems and delivering exceptional user experiences. Within Product, the SuperAnalyst team builds agentic finance capabilities, at the heart of our research suite—reusable, validated workflows that productize the repeatable work of a financial analyst (from surfacing the key debates on a company to building estimate forecasts), organized by financial persona with a dedicated owner accountable for each persona’s roadmap, builds, and quality bar. About the Role: We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to own how SuperAnalyst serves bankers in an AI-first world. Your value lies in your experience on the desk at a top-tier investment bank: you understand the pressure, the workflows—from pitch and CIM prep to live deal execution—and the friction points that exist today. As the owner of the Investment Banking persona, you will set the IB skill roadmap, teach our AI to think like a banker, and own the quality bar for everything that ships under IB. You will build the hardest skills yourself, guide contributors and our Forward Deployed Bankers, and fold what they learn in the field back into the library. You own what ships, and it reaches bankers on live deals across our customer base. What You’ll Do: - Own the IB roadmap & champion the customer: Act as the voice of the banker—translate deep knowledge of IB workflows (modeling, valuation, comps, M&A, capital markets) into a prioritized skill roadmap that solves the most acute pain points from analyst to MD. - Lead AI prompt engineering & validation: Be the primary architect of “quality” for IB—design, test, and refine skills so outputs meet the standard of a professional banker; you can look at an AI model or comp set and immediately know if it is MD-ready, and you hold every IB skill to our three-gate evaluation. - Guide contributors & forward-deployed engagements: Crowd source ideas for new capabilities from our “boots on the ground” customer success team and backstop the Forward Deployed Bankers on hard, account-specific builds, then fold the best features back into the core library. - Collaborate across teams: Work side-by-side with Engineering, Design, Sales Enablement, and Strategic Initiatives, bridging the gap between technical capability and business value. - Drive continuous improvement: Relentlessly push for better accuracy and speed, testing IB skills against real deal scenarios to ensure reliability. - Special projects: Develop advanced agentic architectures (e.g. AI slide deck creation) and design systems that abstract product development practices such as knowledge graphs, automated feedback systems, and no-code workflow builders. Who You Are: - Domain expert: 3+ years as an analyst, associate, or beyond in investment banking (M&A, coverage, capital markets, or leveraged finance) at a top-tier firm; you have lived the workflow and understand the nuance of financial data and deliverables. - AI enthusiast & practitioner: You have a strong grasp of Generative AI, are comfortable with vibe coding, prompt engineering, and understand the limitations of LLMs and how to work around them. Hands-on experience building with AI is a strong plus. - Strategic thinker: You can look at a manual process you used to do—spreading comps, building an LBO, drafting a CIM—and visualize exactly how AI should automate it, and in what order it is worth building. - Clear communicator: You can articulate complex banking concepts to engineers and designers who may not have a finance background, and carry credibility from the analyst bullpen to the MD’s office.
