Technical Specialist, Machinery Do you want to be part of implementing unique shipbuilding projects that are not done anywhere else? We are looking for a technical specialist responsible for the technical implementation of ship transport machinery at the equipment level, ensuring that solutions work throughout all phases of the projects. What does the work involve? - Acting as the link between design and production during the project implementation phase - Ensuring the functionality of technical solutions and managing equipment-level interfaces from design to commissioning - Commenting on equipment specifications, drawings, calculations, as well as installation and work descriptions - Supervising manufacturing and participating in factory tests - Acting as a system-level expert covering, among other things, propulsion and steering gear as well as main equipment for power and electricity production - Developing cooperation between production and design and drafting installation and commissioning instructions as needed - Participating in quay and sea trials as needed What do we expect from you? - Strong expertise in mechanical, manufacturing, and materials technology, as well as general knowledge of electrical and automation technology - Familiarity with ship propulsion and steering gear as well as main equipment for power/electricity production - Appropriate education (M.Sc. Tech or Engineer) - At least 3 years of experience in similar roles Why RMC?
