Assembly Worker

We are looking for assembly workers for our client, ABB Distribution Solutions, in Vaasa. The job description includes the assembly and testing of protection relays. Previous experience in electronics mass production/assembly is considered an advantage. A good educational background for the role would be, for example, vocational training in electricity or electronics. We value initiative and an efficient attitude in employees. You will use computer systems daily, including SAP, so basic IT skills are required. The most important part of the job is understanding the importance of quality. Attentiveness and the ability to learn new things are particularly important in this role, as the products being assembled are small and require precision in component handling. Work takes place in morning, evening, and night shifts. It is possible that work is only in morning and evening shifts, but we also require readiness for night shifts. The working language in production is Finnish, and English language skills are considered an advantage. We also require a valid occupational safety card or that the training is completed before the start of employment. The employment contract is concluded with Barona Teollisuus as a fixed-term contract. Those who perform well in the job have the possibility of long-term employment.
