Project Manager

Do you want to help develop innovative foundation solutions for offshore wind turbines and take responsibility for complex projects at sea? At Aarsleff, we are specialists in foundations for offshore wind and marine constructions. We produce some of Europe's largest specially designed concrete elements and are planning an expansion of our concrete factory in Świnoujście, Poland, so we can deliver XXL elements for offshore wind and complex marine projects across Europe. We are market leaders in concrete gravity base foundations for offshore wind turbines and are simultaneously developing new solutions for the installation of monopiles and other specialized offshore tasks. We are looking for experienced project managers for Offshore Wind & Special Marine Projects. Here you will become part of a small, dedicated team with a high professional level and great passion for work at sea. You will work closely with the rest of the team and with other departments of the Aarsleff Group through our One Company structure. Our projects are often large and complex, and we are typically involved early in planning, design, and budgeting. This gives you the opportunity to help develop the project's solutions from the start or participate in the execution of projects at home and abroad, depending on where your strengths and interests lie. The position can be filled with a workplace at our office in either Glostrup or Viby. Your responsibilities include, among other things: - ensuring that projects are carried out safely and without accidents - engaging in early involvement or execution and helping to shape the project's development in collaboration with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors - leading and motivating the project team on a daily basis and creating a healthy working environment - managing the collaboration with clients, consultants, and other internal and external partners - entering into agreements with subcontractors and suppliers - ensuring that the project is executed within the agreed frameworks for quality, time, and economy - preparing forecasts and reporting to department management - determining and describing technical solutions. We are looking for someone who: - is a trained engineer and has at least five years of experience as a project manager within marine civil engineering, for example projects within offshore wind or harbor construction - prioritizes workplace safety above all - has strong leadership and communication skills in both Danish and English - thrives on making decisions, finding solutions, and identifying opportunities for optimization - has an understanding of contract terms - fits well into an international environment where the working language, both written and oral, is most often English - maintains engagement and overview in a varied everyday life, even when work does not proceed as planned - has a broad technical understanding of geotechnics, concrete, and the execution of operations on water. In Aarsleff Offshore Wind & Special Marine Projects, we develop and implement unique projects. We have worked with wind turbine foundations and geotechnical pile tests in Taiwan as well as the development and installation of Osonic™ monopiles in the North Sea. We also contribute to other projects both domestically and abroad where large and heavy elements are to be installed from the water.
