Staria is looking for a Senior Accounting Advisor to take full responsibility for the financial administration of a few designated client companies. In this role, you will handle daily financial tasks including bookkeeping, monthly reporting, financial statements, and tax returns. You will lead the monthly closing process to ensure quality and adherence to schedules, and perform analysis and group reporting using Excel. As a trusted partner, you will actively spar with client contacts, provide proactive advice to add value to their business, and participate in client meetings. You will collaborate with Finnish and international accounting teams and work closely with other team members to develop operating methods and the customer experience. Staria utilizes modern digital tools, including AI applications like StariaMind, to enhance efficiency. The role offers high flexibility, allowing work from home, at offices in Helsinki, Tampere, Turku, Salo, Kotka, or Lahti, or occasionally from abroad. The company supports professional growth and certifications such as KLT, CPA, or ACCA.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for bookkeeping, monthly reporting, financial statements, and tax returns for designated client companies
- Lead the monthly closing process to ensure quality and schedule adherence
- Analyze financial reports and prepare group reporting
- Act as a financial administration partner, advising and sparring with clients on financial matters
- Participate in client meetings and collaborate with international teams
- Support the team and participate in the development of operating methods
Requirements
- Strong experience in full-cycle bookkeeping and ability to independently complete the financial closing process
- Understanding of group reporting and interest in analyzing the overall financial picture
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under tight deadlines
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and development-minded approach
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Business Central and Excel
- Fluency in Finnish and good proficiency in English
- Credit check will be performed on the selected candidate
