The Municipality of Laukaa is seeking a project worker for the ESR+ funded project "Välvöyhkä - attracting and retaining skilled labor in Laukaa," funded by the Central Finland Center for Economic Development. The position is fixed-term from September 1, 2026, to October 31, 2028. The project worker (Välvöyhkä) will operate as part of a project team together with the project manager and a change coach. The core of the duties is working with companies and other employers in Laukaa and the surrounding areas, as well as business and employment service providers. The goal is to strengthen employers' capabilities to attract and retain skilled labor and to strengthen common operating models to better match employer needs with skilled labor. Välvöyhkä operates within a network of employers, employees, job seekers, and educational institutions, mapping employer needs, organizing training and coaching for employers, creating connections between employers and potential employees, resolving employment barriers, communicating, and producing information materials. The duties also include organizing coaching for staff from the business and employment service organizations and educational institutions involved in the project. Successful performance of the duties requires: - experience and expertise in developing business operations and processes for companies, including recruitment and competence development - experience and expertise in coaching employers, companies, and entrepreneurs, as well as facilitation skills (e.g., development projects, workshops) - understanding of management and the quality of working life - understanding of how labor markets function - versatile communication and cooperation skills Considered an advantage: - knowledge of the business landscape in Laukaa and surrounding areas - strong networks within the business community - experience working in EU-funded projects and within a municipal organization The project worker hired for the project is an expert according to the KVTES salary group Certain Administrative Expert Positions (1ASI44). Performing the duties requires the ability to use one's own car and occasional work during evening hours. The project's operational area includes the Municipality of Laukaa and neighboring municipalities. The working language of the project is Finnish. The position has a six (6) month probationary period. The selected person must present an approved medical certificate of health.
