Lead with a clear objective: we seek a Finance Analyst who will be the finance contact for 2 US entities, coordinating with the SSO for correct reporting of financials, following US GAAP and local requirements. Primary focus is capex and opex, with aims to standardize processes and automate activities to release time for business analysis. Responsibilities include capex control, journal entries, account reconciliations, opex control, contributing to the annual operating plan, coordinating month-close activities with Shared Service, providing finance support to other functions, preparing decks for month-close reviews, supporting continuous improvement, adhering to ethics and company rules, applying 5S, and participating in company brigades. Requirements: 3 years experience; degree in Accounting, Finance, Administration or related fields; Google Workspace; Oracle Fusion or Oracle R12 knowledge; advanced Excel; strong communication with Senior Leaders; self-leadership.

- Key contact for capex control, actual and forecast, in partnership with local operations and global platform teams
- Preparation of Journal Entries

- Contribute to the Annual Operating Plan
- Coordinate the month close activities with the Shared Service team
- Provide finance support to other functions
- Prepare decks and bridges to support understanding of month close reviews
- Support Continuous Improvement of finance related activities
- Follow company internal work rules and safety requirements
- Comply with and share Avery Dennison's ethics and values policy
- Apply and promote the 5S methodology in your work area
- If part of any company brigade/committee, fulfill corresponding activities
Requirements
- 3 years of experience
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Administration or related fields
- Google Workspace proficiency
- Advanced Excel
- Strong communication with senior leaders
- Self-leadership
