Application Specialist

Sandvik Coromant Finland Oy is responsible for the sale and marketing of Sandvik Coromant's products and services in Finland and the Baltic countries. We guide and serve our customers, and in cooperation with customers, we seek solutions that benefit both parties. Important customers in Finland are well-known international machine shop companies and their subcontractors. We are now looking for reinforcement for our Finnish team in the Application Specialist role to support the development of our customers' production and the growth of the business. The location of the task is Southern Finland. Work is done from a home office in the summer and the task includes traveling to customers domestically. As an Application Specialist, you are responsible for the implementation of technical solutions produced for our customers and the maximization of value. You work in close cooperation with sales and play a central role in the development of both current and new customer relationships. Key tasks are: - Implementation of technical solutions and support of sales for customers and resellers - Development of the efficiency of customers' production processes and analysis of technical needs - Carrying out projects from idea to order - Active work with sales and customer projects - Building customer relationships at both production and management levels - Identifying and developing new business opportunities - Planning and implementing training for customers and partners - Solving technical problems and continuous development work together with customers and the organization What we expect from you: - Experience in chip-removing machining (e.g. turning, milling, drilling) - Several years of experience in technical specialist tasks or a similar role - Good understanding of the manufacturing industry and production processes - Experience in project work and operating at the customer interface - Ability to identify customer needs and build value-producing solutions - Good interaction and presentation skills - Fluent English skills and excellent command of the Finnish language In addition, we value: - CAD/CAM expertise - Interest in digital solutions (e.g. data, analytics, digital machining) - A sales-oriented approach and a solution-oriented way of thinking What we offer: - A versatile and independent role in an international environment - The opportunity to influence the development of customers' production - A wide product and service portfolio to support you - Training and opportunities for continuous development - Competitive pay and benefits Further information/contacts: Further information about the task is provided by the recruiting manager: Jaakko Kääriäinen, Managing Director, Sandvik Coromant Finland Oy, tel. 0503558072.
