Specializing in wild food and locality, Kultala serves guests with breakfast, buffet dinners, and operates as a trail cafe in the spring. We are now looking for a cook for the upcoming winter season 2026-2027 in Ruka! Restaurant Kultala is a contract restaurant, so the duties include preparing high-quality buffet and plated meals. We require professional training in the field and a few years of kitchen experience. Proficiency in Finnish is essential, and English language skills should also be present as the clientele is international during the winter. However, a natural desire to produce high-quality food and provide good customer service is key. You will succeed in this role if you are efficient, proactive, and comfortable interacting with customers. We offer you the opportunity to work in stunning fell landscapes. The work starts in early December and lasts until the end of March 2027. Pay is competitive based on your skills and experience, approximately 15-17€/h, and if needed, affordable on-site accommodation can be arranged! You will have the support and security of Lisäpalvelu throughout your journey. We ensure that everything goes as agreed and that you enjoy your time at the destination. We will visit you occasionally on-site. This allows you to focus on your work and enjoying the fells.
