We are seeking a facility maintenance worker for a permanent position in cleaning and food services in Saarijärvi. The work is primarily located at social and health care sites in the Saarijärvi area, including Kotikontu and the health center. The work of facility maintenance workers is diverse, involving various cleaning and meal service tasks. Duties include maintenance and basic cleaning, as well as meal service preparation and dishwashing. Additionally, the role includes textile care tasks. The work is a two-shift system from Monday to Sunday. The facility maintenance worker works in close cooperation with residents and nursing staff. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary work community and share your daily work life with colleagues. We value previous work experience in similar roles. If no candidate meeting the eligibility requirements is found, we may also consider applicants interested in an apprenticeship who do not meet the eligibility requirement. In that case, the position may be filled on a fixed-term basis. We require suitability according to Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act (chickenpox and measles). The employer determines the need for influenza and pertussis vaccinations. Additionally, we require a hygiene passport, which can also be completed at the start of employment. The terms of employment are determined in accordance with the Social and Health Care Sector Collective Agreement (SOTE agreement). The position is subject to a probationary period. The selected person must present a criminal record extract in accordance with Section 6 of the Criminal Records Act (working with the elderly or disabled).
