Analytics Engineer

We are looking for an Analytics Engineer for our client Finavia to join its expert data and AI team and develop the airport experience of the future. In this role, you will work with modern technologies in a unique operating environment. As an Analytics Engineer, you will be responsible for transforming analytics and reporting data that is critical to Finavia’s business and ensuring that it can be used effectively. You will work as part of an expert unit, supported most closely by a tight-knit data and AI team and a skilled external partner network. The role focuses on modelling Finavia’s analytics and reporting data, developing data structures on the Snowflake-based analytics platform, and producing Power BI reporting solutions for business needs. Responsibilities: - Logical and physical modelling of analytics data - Developing data structures for the Snowflake-based analytics platform - Implementing reporting and analytics solutions using Power BI - Translating business requirements into functional analytics solutions - Developing shared data-modelling and reporting principles - Ensuring data quality, information security and compliance - Collaborating with external data and analytics partners We are looking for someone with experience in analytics data modelling, good SQL and Python skills, practical experience with Snowflake and Power BI, an understanding of modern information security and data governance, and suitable education. Fluent Finnish and English are required. Knowledge of Data Vault architecture and a relevant higher-education background, such as information systems science or software engineering, are considered advantages. To succeed in the role, you are supportive, goal-oriented, sociable, responsible and curious. Employment is conditional on passing a basic security clearance and a drug test.
