Project Manager

**Do you want to be part of developing the food sector and food industry companies in Vakka-Suomi?** We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, committed, and experienced project manager for our regional food project (Innovative and renewing food entrepreneurship in Southwest Finland), funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and regional municipalities. The project collaborates with other Ukipolis projects, regional food companies, educational institutions, and municipal economic development departments. The project's goals include measures aimed at growth, product development, increasing the visibility of the food chain, and developing cooperation between educational institutions and companies. As the Project Manager, you will guide and manage the food project, which aims to promote the innovation, development, and adaptation capacity of food sector companies in Finland's Proper and Satakunta regions to changes in the operating environment, ensuring their competitiveness in the future. Your duties include collaborating with companies, various stakeholders, and partners, monitoring and reporting on project schedules and budgets, and planning and implementing events. You will serve as the project manager while operating strongly at the corporate interface, contacting and advising companies. We value solid experience in a project manager role, knowledge of the Vakka-Suomi region, and the ability to plan and implement projects efficiently and effectively. We hope for excellent interaction skills and the ability to network with different stakeholders. Your educational background should be at the university of applied sciences level, or equivalent expertise acquired through strong evidence. Additionally, a desire to positively influence the Vakka-Suomi region and promote the development of companies is a significant advantage in this role. Knowledge of the Vakka-Suomi area is valued. The work requires the possibility of using your own car and visiting companies in the region. The position is 70% part-time and will begin once we receive a positive funding decision from the funder, estimated in September 2026. The employment is fixed-term, and the project ends on December 31, 2028.
