Helsingin Ponnistus seeks enthusiastic and motivated head coaches and assistant coaches for part-time coaching roles for 5v5, 8v8 and 11v11 age groups for the 2026–2027 season. We are recruiting coaches for teams across different age groups. We are looking for experienced coaches as well as individuals starting their coaching career who want to learn, develop and provide children and youth with a high-quality and inspiring sport environment. What is Helsingin Ponnistus? Helsingin Ponnistus is a traditional and developing sports club in Helsinki where football is a significant part of our activities. We offer a safe, goal-oriented and inspiring environment for players and coaches. Our values are equality, competitiveness and togetherness. We have about 600 junior players, roughly 60% boys and 40% girls. Our activities span from the youngest juniors to adult teams. We continuously develop and offer players a chance to play and grow at their level in a high-quality coaching environment. Coaching task Lead Coach responsibilities include planning and delivering training sessions; leading team life; supporting individual player development; collaborating with guardians, team officials and the club; implementing the coaching line of the club. As Lead Coach you lead the team’s daily life holistically. As Assistant Coach you provide important support in training and matches together with the rest of the coaching team. What we expect? We expect: interest in coaching children and youth; good communication and collaboration skills; responsible and positive attitude; desire to develop as a coach; previous coaching experience and coaching education are considered an advantage but not mandatory.
