Welcome to Oma Häme as an occupational therapist! We are seeking a development-oriented, licensed occupational therapist capable of independent work for the Forssa region, primarily for primary healthcare rehabilitation, adult occupational therapy, and assistive device work. You will be supported by a multidisciplinary, competent, and cheerful work community. We require good interaction and teamwork skills. Success in the position requires readiness to travel, a driver's license, and the possibility of using your own car. The work consists of daytime shifts on weekdays. Work includes, among other things, functional capacity assessment at the reception, in the ward, and in the client's own environment, therapy, orthosis and assistive device assessment and user guidance, as well as assessment of the environment and modification needs. Work begins in September or by agreement. The open position is part of the adult rehabilitation services, where approximately 60 professionals work. You will receive orientation and support from the work community. We process applications flexibly, and interviews may take place during the application period. Applications must be received by the end of the application period. Remuneration and terms of employment are determined according to the SOTE agreement. In addition to the position-specific salary, we pay an experience-based supplement ranging from 3% to 8%. The accumulation of vacation days is also determined based on length of service. We use a flexible general working time of 38 hours and 15 minutes per week. The probationary period is six (6) months. Immediate patient and client work requires vaccination protection as required by Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act and a respiratory tuberculosis report according to Section 55.
