Clinical Geneticist

The Genomics Laboratory at HUS Diagnostics Center offers broad diagnostic genetic laboratory investigations of congenital and somatic changes, with a shift toward genome-wide analyses. The role of a hospital geneticist is to contribute expert knowledge to the laboratory’s genetic investigations, engage in customer collaboration, product development, and adoption of new methods. The position requires the qualifications of a hospital geneticist as per regulation 564/94 and authorization by Valvira to use the protected title. The job includes independent and proactive work style, good organizational ability, strong interpersonal skills, and enthusiasm for developing and implementing new methods. Experience with laboratory quality systems and validation of genome-wide sequencing studies is advantageous. The gross monthly salary is 5241.34 – 5853.69 €/month with potential seniority pay.
