District Heating Installer

Nurmijärven Sähkö is seeking a district heating installer to join their district heating team in Nurmijärvi. The role involves a range of district heating production and distribution tasks. The work is independent but conducted with a colleague for onboarding, with responsibilities given progressively. The successful candidate may be an experienced installer or a technically skilled person who wants to focus on energy sector. Prior district heating experience is not required; attitude and willingness to learn are valued. Experience in energy sector or a related qualification is a plus but not mandatory. Key duties include: operating, maintaining, and servicing district heating networks; operating and maintaining heat plants; diagnosing faults and performing repairs; participating in on-call duty after onboarding. Requirements include several years of experience in a technical field (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical, metalwork); proactive, self-directed, and responsible work style; willingness to learn new systems and undertake energy sector training as needed; strong team spirit; readiness for on-call shifts about 7 weeks per year; driving license B.
