Chief Engineer – Subcontractor Planning

Lead and develop the subcontractor network for mechanical design of armored vehicles. Manage external design resources, supervise external mechanical designers, onboard new designers, balance workload and define assignments with quality. Ensure time approvals, invoice review, and smooth collaboration with design offices. Work closely with lead designers, design specialists, delivery projects and subcontractor offices. Identify improvement areas in design processes, streamline operations, and ensure design tasks are well defined and progressing efficiently. The role emphasizes proactive mindset, collaboration, and ability to respond quickly to changing situations. You will be the interface between projects, internal experts and external design partners.
