Logistics overview: Do you manage logistics comprehensively and enjoy diverse work? We are now seeking a proactive and systematic logistics worker for Järvenpää for a long-term employment. The client is a Finnish manufacturing company that develops and produces high-quality products for several sectors, including food and industry, automotive, household, and sports/leisure. The company is in its second generation and has expanded internationally in recent years. Job description: You will handle diverse logistics tasks related to incoming and outgoing goods and daily customer cooperation. Your day includes coordinating transports, drafting freight and packaging labels, contacting customers, and scheduling deliveries. Customers are worldwide, so fluent English is used daily by phone and email. You will work closely with production and the packaging department. You will manage the entire logistics cycle from goods receipt to shipments. As the company grows, there may be opportunities to take on more responsibilities and advance to more demanding logistics tasks. The employment contract follows the Chemical Industry collective agreement. Qualifications: prior experience with warehouse shipping and/or receiving tasks; fluent English; good IT skills and willingness to learn new systems; experience with electronic transport and booking systems (e.g., Unifaun, DSV, Posti, Dachser); forklift and other warehouse equipment experience; self-driven, systematic and able to handle pressure.
