Timoteos Oy is a Finnish family company that has since 1996 developed and manufactured high quality assistive devices for children and youths with severe disabilities. Our flagship products, Ella standing frame and Ode seating system, are known for ergonomic and individually adjustable solutions. Our own factory is located in Pori, with an office in Espoo, and our operations reach worldwide from Finland to New Zealand. As the business grows, we are looking for a practical and precise PRODUCT ENGINEER to match our products’ modeling, drawing creation and updating, and systematic maintenance of product data and documentation. Tasks include: 3D modeling of existing products and components; cleaning up and updating drawings; producing technical drawings and manufacturing documents; creating BOM structures and maintaining item numbers; maintaining product data in ERP; documenting changes and revisions and communicating them to suppliers; supporting production with questions about products, components and documentation; organizing drawings and technical material and ensuring up-to-date information; collaborating with production, procurement, product development and subcontractors. The role requires attention to detail, a systematic and solution-focused approach. We expect: suitable technical training; at least five years of experience in product design/development or mechanical engineering; practical experience designing physical products, machines, vehicles, devices or other manufacturable assemblies; strong SolidWorks skills; strong 3D modeling and drawing/documentation; good understanding of product structures, item numbers and revisions; knowledge of manufacturing methods, materials, mechanisms and assembly; ability to assess impact on production, procurement and costs; ERP experience (Lemonsoft is a plus); organized, careful and problem-solving approach; good collaboration and communication skills; fluent Finnish and English. We also value certification/compliance experience, medical devices or assistive technology, sheet metal/welding/plastics/mechanism design, prototyping and testing, project management, international environment.
