About the role

**Do you want to work in a role where you can utilize your experience in the process industry and promote standard-compliant, high-quality, and responsible operations? We are looking for a Lead Auditor for the assessment of management systems in the process industry for Kiwa's certification and assessment services.** As a Lead Auditor for the process industry, depending on your background and expertise, you will work with our customers in the chemical industry and/or other process industry sectors. Your task will be to assess the management systems of process industry organizations from the perspectives of occupational safety, environment, energy management, and quality, as well as to help them find new ways of operating to implement continuous improvement. As a Lead Auditor, you will work with various organizations and familiarize yourself with the implementation of management and quality control at all levels of the organizations. You will get to experience a wide variety of operating environments and projects. Our customers are located across Finland, and your place of work can be any of Kiwa's offices in Finland. **Who are we looking for?** We expect a relevant university degree and several years of work experience in the process industry. Your background could be, for example, from the chemical industry or otherwise broadly from the process industry operating environment. We also value experience with various circular economy operations, such as waste management. We expect an understanding of management systems and the basic elements of risk management, including standards for quality, environment, occupational health and safety, and energy management. Previous experience in customer work and working with management systems will support your orientation to the role. The position requires willingness to travel primarily within Finland and, if necessary, abroad. You need fluent oral and written skills in Finnish and English. It is important that you can work in English both conversationally and in writing. We hope that you enjoy working with customers and are able to build trusting relationships at different levels of the organization. You can naturally discuss with both production experts and corporate management, and you can grasp broad entities and identify essential matters quickly. You work proactively and independently, but also value the support of colleagues and the sharing of expertise. A flexible, curious, and growth-oriented attitude will help you succeed in the role and in a changing operating environment. **Working at Kiwa** At Kiwa, you will become part of an expert and respected organization where your work has a clear societal significance. This versatile and independent role offers a comprehensive view of the process industry operating environment and management. We offer skilled and encouraging colleagues and a team. The health, safety, and well-being of our staff are of paramount importance to us, and we invest in their development as part of our responsible corporate culture. In Kiwa's certification and assessment services, we are proud of our expertise and work, our working atmosphere, our commitment, and the good development opportunities in a stable and growing organization. We want to be the most trusted partner for our customers for a more sustainable and responsible tomorrow. We offer very extensive occupational health care, leisure accident insurance, as well as sports, culture, and well-being benefits. Our staff club organizes hobby and leisure activities ideated by employees, which bring joy to everyday life and increase community spirit. We also offer the possibility of a company bike. We believe that future expertise is built on trust and caring. When cooperation is straightforward and the atmosphere is encouraging, people enjoy their work and gain the courage to develop and innovate. A good feeling is reflected in our daily lives through helping each other, a sense of security, and working together, which are strengthened in every encounter, project, and customer site.
