Raahen kaupungin nuorisopalvelut seek a permanent Youth Worker starting 1 October 2026. The role involves working in a relaxed port-city environment near the Bothnian Bay, in schools with good learning support resources, and within a development‑minded and supportive work community. The team is multidisciplinary and collaborative, focusing on youth well‑being, participation, and growth. The position includes evening and weekend work and requires a driving license and access to a car, with approximately 50% of work performed in the neighboring municipality Pyhäjäri (Pyhäjoki is the correct municipality name in Finnish; Pyhäjoella is mentioned in Finnish). The job is based on cooperative networks and requires initiative and knowledge of the service system. The selected candidate will work with the Raahen and Pyhäjoki teams and be part of the youth outreach team. Previous experience working with youth is valued, with prior individual work with youth and work with youths needing special support considered an advantage. The contract follows the municipal general collective agreement (KVTES); a six‑month probation period applies.
