Martinlaakso School is seeking a class teacher to become a music class teacher in our pleasant community! We have great teams where expertise is shared and operating models are actively developed. Martinlaakso School is a comprehensive school for grades 1-9 with about 1000 students and about 130 adults. The school is located in Martinlaakso with good transport links, operating in a modern building with up-to-date equipment. The goal is to be a pedagogically unified school where learners of different ages meet. We develop our school according to the ProKoulu model, meaning common goals and methods for guiding student behavior using positive feedback. Commitment to this model is required. Requirements: Pedagogical expertise and differentiation, ability to plan for different levels, mastery of diverse methods, multicultural sensitivity, readiness to meet students from different backgrounds, understanding of S2 needs, good interaction and cooperation skills, ability to build trust with students and guardians, active teamwork, holistic support for students, flexibility, and a positive attitude toward development. We offer modern learning spaces, up-to-date tools, a competent community, and teacher mentors. Based on the number of S2 students, a salary supplement of approx. 250 eur/month may be paid. Eligibility: Qualification according to Decree 986/1998. Advantage: Readiness to teach lower grade music to other groups if needed. Terms are according to the Municipal Education Personnel Collective Agreement (OVTES). A valid criminal record extract is required. Fixed-term: 13.08.2026 - 31.07.2027. Full-time official relationship. Probation period: 6 months.
