In the M&A legal services team, we design and implement customized, cost-effective, and reliable solutions for all stages of corporate transactions. Our domestic lawyer network covers all of Finland, and in transactions extending abroad, colleagues from the international KPMG network assist as needed. Typical assignments include legal advice on buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions and funding rounds. Furthermore, we work closely in our client assignments with other KPMG teams, such as Corporate Finance and Transaction Services teams. As an M&A Legal Counsel: - You are responsible for the comprehensive successful implementation of corporate transaction processes together with the partner responsible for the assignment and the rest of the project team - You prepare legal expert reports related to corporate transactions and legal due diligence reports to be carried out in connection with the corporate transaction process - You participate in corporate transaction negotiations and are responsible for their progress - You are responsible for monitoring the budget of client projects and the required measures - You ensure active and up-to-date communication to various stakeholders both internally within KPMG and towards clients - You guide and support younger specialists in their tasks during corporate transaction processes - Close cooperation with team members, experts from other service areas, and clients throughout the transaction lifecycle.
