We are looking for an IT Analyst (Trading) – Senior / Expert to strengthen our Equity DevOps area with a full-time permanent employment agreement. About our team Meet the Equity DevOp team. Our role is to to ensure stable operations of business-critical equity trading platforms that process up to a billion transactions daily for trading desks across Nordea. You will be part of an Equity DevOps team within the Application Maintenance capability and work closely with traders, developers and vendors across Nordea. Location: Gdańsk (3 days/week in office). Area: Equity DevOps / Application Maintenance. What you'll be doing Main responsibilities in this role: Managing and supporting business critical equity trading applications in production Acting as first point of contact for trading desks for trading and data related issues Handling complex incidents across multiple teams and technology areas Working according to Incident, Problem and Change Management processes Ensuring system stability during high volume and volatile market conditions Maintaining and extending monitoring, alerting and observability Driving automation and operational improvements Creating and maintaining operational and technical documentation Working closely with traders, developers and vendor support teams Who you are This is the right role for you if you are comfortable working in high-pressure, production-critical trading environments and are proactive, accountable, and self-organized. You balance operational responsibility with improvement work and communicate effectively with business stakeholders. Your background and skills include: Experience supporting business critical trading applications in a fast paced environment Understanding of Order Management Systems / Electronic Trading, or strong personal interest Experience working with Incident, Problem and Change Management (ITIL or similar) Understanding of application lifecycle and production support Interest in automation and reducing recurring operational tasks Curiosity about how electronic and automated trading systems operate end to end Technical Stack / Skills: Windows and Linux – hands on operational experience Python – hands on operational experience PowerShell – hands on operational experience FIX protocol – intermediate or basic understanding SQL – intermediate (analysis and troubleshooting) Monitoring & observability tools such as Geneos, Grafana or similar Exposure to electronic and automated trading environments Front Arena or Murex experience welcome (but not mandatory) What we offer Collaboration.
