Harvesting Specialist

We are seeking an active, proactive and systematic harvesting specialist to primarily oversee roundwood harvesting. Your responsibilities will be located in Eastern Lapland around Kuusamo, Kemijärvi and Savukoski. The Kemijärvi area is your main site, with Rovaniemi as a possible secondary location. The position is permanent and starts on 2 November 2026. You will lead the harvesting operations within your defined contractor area, coordinating subcontractor networks and collaborating with team members and stakeholders to achieve reception and delivery targets. You will develop the harvesting team’s operations in line with Metsä strategy, while promoting safety, environmental stewardship and corporate responsibility.
