About the role

We are looking for professionals with a CHILDCARE GUIDE qualification for family home services in the Western Uusimaa wellbeing services county in Espoo, Kirkkonummi, and Kauniainen! In family home services, you will take care of our client families' children and have the opportunity to play and spend time outdoors with wonderful children. At the same time, you will concretely support the smoothness of families' everyday lives and the well-being of parents through your work, helping to prevent and alleviate problems for children and families as early as possible. We offer work according to your own life situation, in families that suit you. Generally, your shift in a family lasts 2-4 hours at a time. Work is available Monday to Friday mainly between 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM, and Saturdays between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. You can choose when you want to work! Ideally, you could commit to at least one of our client families for about 2-3 months. The work takes place mainly in our client families' own homes and their surroundings, in Kirkkonummi and Kauniainen. We hope you can start work during the summer of 2026! WORKING WITH US, YOU GET: -16.36€/h + evening and weekend bonuses according to the private social services sector TES -A transition bonus for each transition during your workday, if you work in several families on the same day. -Comprehensive, paid orientation for your work -Opportunity for regular training and professional development -First aid training -Support from your supervisor Anna alongside your independent work whenever you need it -Statutory occupational health care -Accident insurance We also have a referral bonus. WE EXPECT FROM YOU: -A CHILDCARE GUIDE qualification or another suitable social or health care qualification (practical nurse, childcare worker, home care worker) -Professional experience working with children and families -A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently -Good oral and written skills in Finnish / -PLEASE, NOTE! In this position, good written and spoken skills in FINNISH are required in this position! You must also have at least one reference from previous employment with children and a clean criminal record for working with children. The person selected for the position must present to the employer a criminal record extract in accordance with Section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act. The position requires registration in Valvira's central register of professionals. We also value: -Experience working with children in need of special support (e.g., neuropsychiatric challenges, autism spectrum). -Experience in caring for small infants
