Welcome to join us at Primary Health Care Ward 2! We are looking for practical nurses for permanent employment contracts. Our ward has 33 patient places, providing care for acute, rehabilitation, palliative, and end-of-life care patients. The ward operates in modules. Patients primarily arrive for treatment from the LKS emergency department and for follow-up care from various specialized medical care wards. We offer you the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary community where the work is varied and allows for the versatile use of professional skills in treating patients from different specialties. The work is based on a three-shift system. Your role as a practical nurse is to ensure good and high-quality care for patients, as well as the promotion and maintenance of health with a rehabilitative approach. WHAT DOES THE POSITION REQUIRE OF YOU? - A degree as a practical nurse or other equivalent previous degree - Registration in JulkiTerhikki (Valvira) - A criminal record extract for those working with elderly people - Fluent oral and written skills in Finnish - Medication permits and demonstrations (completed at the start of employment) - A positive attitude and enthusiasm! Terms of employment are determined according to the SOTE agreement. The position is subject to a 6-month probationary period. Regarding staff vaccination protection, we follow the vaccination protection required by the Occupational Health and Communicable Diseases Act.
