As our company expands to Oulu, we are now looking for an automation engineer for modern technologies and innovative solutions! Our operations in the area are in a growth phase, so if you are motivated by forward-moving business, you will have the opportunity in this role to be involved in developing the future of our unit! Your role with us In the role of automation engineer, you will be responsible for the comprehensive design and programming of automation solutions, from requirement definition to hardware selection, software structure design and implementation, as well as testing and commissioning. We implement projects across a wide range of industrial sectors, and your work may target, for example, the maritime or defense industries, industrial production equipment, or mobile machinery. Programming is done in the ST language using modern programming practices, and Siemens TIA Portal, Beckhoff, and the CODESYS programming environment are used. The emphasis of the role varies by project and is also shaped by your own background and strengths. Our automation team is growing and developing rapidly, so if you wish, you will have the opportunity to take on broader responsibility for both projects and team operations. What kind of person are we looking for? We are looking for a person for the position who already has strong experience in industrial and machine automation. We hope for: - A suitable technical university degree (for example, automation engineering B.Eng/M.Sc) - Experience with industrial automation systems and software - An independent and solution-oriented approach and the ability to take responsibility for your own projects - Good communication and cooperation skills in English - Practical experience in electrical and automation installations and their supervision and inspection is considered an advantage Why Creo Center?
