Childcare Worker

We are looking for an early childhood education childcare worker for a group of 1-2-year-old children at the Lauttasaari daycare. In your team, an early childhood education teacher and an early childhood education social worker will act as your partners, and there are 12 children in the group. A lovely group awaits you, where great early childhood education is done in the form of various projects. As an early childhood education childcare worker, you will plan and implement pedagogically emphasized care, education and teaching together with other staff in accordance with the early childhood education unit's action plan, the Helsinki early childhood education plan, the pre-primary education plan and the child's early childhood education plan. You are responsible for the children's needs in daily activities and promote the child's health and well-being. We require that you have a vocational qualification in education and guidance, a vocational qualification in social and health care or another similar suitable qualification, which includes or which you have supplemented with sufficiently extensive qualification parts in childcare, education and teaching. In addition, we require good oral and written skills in Finnish. The selected person must present a valid criminal record extract for working with children. A tuberculosis clearance for the respiratory system for those working with children under school age will be checked.
