SUPO, where required) Why this role matters: As a Satellite Operations Specialist, you will be an integral part of ensuring that ICEYE is able to deliver the product and data to customers. You will work closely with other operators on the operations console throughout your shift hours, ensuring smooth operation of our constellation of satellites and providing crucial support for any unexpected contingencies that arise on the fleet or ground systems. You will help to improve Satellite Operations by developing new procedures and tools. You'll handle fleet maintenance, engage in mock operations pre-launch, and be a critical part of the Launch and Early Orbit Operations. Your day-to-day responsibilities Maintain continuous, high-quality monitoring and control of the satellite constellation during all shifts Ensure safe operations, early detection of anomalies, and proper escalation or resolution Enhance Satellite Operations by developing and refining procedures, tools, and workflow Support fleet maintenance activities and satellite in orbit testing Contribute to mission readiness through simulations and Launch and Early Orbit Operations Deliver clear shift handovers, incident reporting, and documentation Contribute to seamless 24/7 operations and strengthen team-wide situational awareness and best practices. What we’re looking for Must haves: Relevant university degree: Aeronautical Engineering, Space studies, Applied Physics or similar, or relative experience in a similar role.
