Field service technician

We are seeking a field service technician for the Pirkanmaa region. The employer is a nationwide importer, dealer and service provider for construction machinery. As a technician you will service and repair excavators, trucks and reach forklifts. The role involves extensive hydraulic hose replacements, engine repairs and scheduled servicing, so broad experience in heavy equipment mechanics and hydraulics is beneficial. The job is largely independent, so prior experience with heavy equipment repair is important. Having driving experience with serviced machines is a plus. Travel to customer sites is done with a company service vehicle, so a valid B-class driving license is required. You will interact with customers daily, so sales-mindedness and good interpersonal skills are a strong plus. Permanent positions are available for the right candidate. Work is paid monthly with possible bonuses, compensation depends on skill level. The work week is 37.5 hours with flexible hours; winter months may include on-call shifts. Finnish is the primary working language, but diagnosis software used is English, so technical English understanding is needed. To apply, please send your CV or a free-form application via the link or email to karo.lehto@jwdpalvelut.fi. The position will be filled as soon as a suitable candidate is found. We will contact those invited to interviews. If this role isn’t for you, you can send an open application stating what you are looking for.
