About the role

We are looking for a laboratory analyst for a permanent position in the chemistry team of the TVO Group's OL3 plant. The duties of a laboratory analyst include: - Process sampling and monitoring of process measurements - Analysis of samples by various chemical and radiochemical methods - Quality assurance and reporting of analysis results - Development of analysis and measurement functions, such as method development, commissioning and validation tasks under guidance - Maintenance and upkeep of process and analysis equipment - Drafting and maintenance of instructions - Standby operations Work takes place in Olkiluoto on the controlled and uncontrolled side of the OL3 plant. The work is mainly day work, but shift work is done, e.g., during annual maintenance and when the plant requires it. We require the applicant to have at least a vocational qualification in chemical engineering or equivalent education. Previous work experience in the laboratory field is considered an advantage. We value a positive attitude, a brisk approach to work tasks, thoroughness, good interaction skills and initiative. Good oral and written skills in English and Finnish are essential.
