The work involves instructional duties at youth service centers. Tasks include guiding groups, client work, and planning and implementing activity evenings and themed events together with the work team. Client groups at the youth centers include 4th-6th grade students, as well as lower secondary school students and older youth. Applicants are expected to be of legal age. Performance in the role requires the ability to engage with youth as a safe adult, as well as good interaction and communication skills. In this position, you will need a positive and proactive attitude, cooperation skills, and initiative. We offer you the opportunity to use your own expertise. Support and sparring assistance are available from other team members. In team meetings, you will be able to exchange ideas and develop operations together with the work community. Experience in youth work and instructional activities acquired through studies in the field or hobby activities is valued. The work is primarily evening work on weekdays (Mon-Fri) and also on Saturdays at some locations. Working hours vary by location, approx. 10-30 h/week. Working hours are agreed upon based on the employee and the specific location. Instructors are being recruited for the following locations: Ahtiala youth center Kivimaa youth center Lähde youth center (Laune) Metsäkangas youth center Multicultural Center Multi-Culti Mukkula youth center Nastola youth center and mobile youth work Youth gaming center Xperience Youth center Tripla (Trio shopping center) The person selected for the position must present a criminal record extract as required by Act 504/2002.
